Translation: The referee wasn’t good, he was unfair. His injustice was clear. He persecuted us from the start of the match. He doesn’t want us to win.

“It was a rigged game. It wasn’t our fault. That referee… it seems like this match was rigged. We were winning 2-0, and he kept coming at us."

“Congratulations to Argentina on another World Cup, it seems. At no point did we think the match was already decided. We knew we were facing the reigning world champions."

“Even before the game started, we knew we would be facing a very strong team and one of the favorites for the title. But if they had won solely on their own merits it would have been very different for us. The referee is unfair. He's wasting the effort of an entire nation."

I feel like I’m bugging but I swear one of Messi’s goals earlier in the tournament had a similar situation where an Argentina player committed a foul before the goal yet it wasn’t called back. But now the refs disallowed a goal when it happens to their opponent? Come on now. I’m a Messi fan, but the refs are going too far

I dont fck with Argentina like that and I get the anger right after, but y’all still gave up them goals in the last 15 min. Thpse hprrible calls didnt kick the ball and you could have still stop them in the end.

I do feel for the players though. Egypt played their heart out and if they did win, I could see a legit underdog finals story.

Did yall see that all the referees for France’s next match are Argentinian? 💀

    4. “god is sufficient for me and the best disposer of all affairs” sounds like he is cursing them lmfao. i get it tho, some of these refs have been so blatant

That was a straight up foul. Very unfortunate but it is what is. But also don’t let the other team score 3 goals within a 15 minute timeframe lmao there’s no saving grace to that

    6. Blame your keeper for not stopping two shots right at him. He saved the hard ones but couldn’t save the ones right at him?

VARgentina strikes again. they have such a long history of this.

egypt, like cabo verde, captured the world’s heart. we saw how hard you played against unfair circumstances. still you kept you decency and sportsmanship. this is what fans of the sport want to see.

that, and for argentina to go down in flames, amen.

As an Egyptian, we aren’t angry because we lost, we’re angry because of the blatant bias and favoritism.
      Super proud of my team❤️🇪🇬

Var for Argentina but nah not for Egypt like van the script be any clearer

    10. It’s not that the VAR call was wrong on the goal. It’s that they aren’t consistent in use and didn’t use it on Argentina’s final goal when they fouled Salah.

The truth is the Egyptian coach has put Palestine on the forefront and FIFA didn’t want all those eyes on us if we upset them. I am proud of Egypt this World Cup!

If this keeps happening, most players are gonna be fed up with all the bs that FIFA allows from Argentina.

But nothing is gonna change, it’d be nice to see a team take no bs and immediately leave the pitch if another ref makes a questionable call in favor of Argentina, just let them play by themselves and take the win instead of wasting their time.

It seems atp it’s blatantly obvious that Argentina is getting so much help, because otherwise they would’ve lost since their Cabo Verde match.

Me after Iran was robbed in their game versus Egypt

((As an Iranian-American it was so hard to cheer for either team lol. Iran for obvious reasons and the USA after that mega (or shall I say MAGA) embarrassing phone call from Trump to the FIFA president. Not truly upset at either team’s elimination, but I was at the Iran vs. Egypt game, so the loss was far more personal and palpable in person hahah))

I love when matches are rigged to allow the side that is destined to lose to go two goals up and then act like the game is done which allows the winning team to get back into it.

      Guy is a bad loser.

Yesssss this is unexpectedly turning out to be a great show of American corruption. We are great but we sold our souls along the way

    18. One game having controversial referee decisions is something, but when every Argentina game has some bullshit like this, you really need to start to consider that maybe the refs are favoring Argentina

      🎵Don’t cry for me Argentina…
The truth is the refs never left you. 🎵
