    1. I mean it can be faulty, he is answering knowing that he doesn't know so anything he says is a lie, last time nose grew was because he said he can't lie and that was in fact a lie or because he doesn't understand how his nose works and made up an explanation making it a lie.

    2. You can not know the answer to something and still lie.
For example, earlier this week I told someone something, and later I came up to them and told them that I was sorry that I lied and I gave them the correct information. I didn't lie out of malice. It was an accident, but I still lied

    3. He's not wrong, the data IS wrong, this just implies that he himself believes the lie, as lying is subjective, and the nose only grows based on what he believes to be true or not. Meaning the last sentence was infact a lie because he himself doubts that and believes it.

In short, he's a confused conspiracy theorist at heart. He knows and believes it to be bad data, but also believes that the data isn't wrong either, and therefore can't make up his mind at the last sentence. 😂

    4. I'm about to get too deep on this funny little comic but I feel like it fundamentally misunderstands an aspect of scientific inquiry. Science is not just about pursuing the answers to questions, but about pulling all the threads that come loose in the pursuit. It's not just yes or no, its how and why and in what circumstances and in which ways. Its "how does the way in which we discovered the thing affect the thing we discover, and how many things can we discover along the way." This is also the case with math, art, and any number of other human creations: Having an end goal or intention is important, but the result is not the most important part, the process is.

    5. It only grows if he knows it’s a lie but if he believes it’s true then it won’t grow.

If he doesn’t know then nothing would happen unless he answered which then it would be a lie and it’s grow even if it was true simply because he didn’t know it was true.

    6. they’re really fuckin dumb cause a lie would literally just be what he thinks isn’t true or him being disengenous, not necessarily a fact of reality. which makes this comic dumb as hell too 😂 the “uh.. no” might have been a lie only in the sense that he gave a definite answer when in fact he doesn’t know the answer. which is probably why it only grew a little bit

    7. Why doesint he just say idk the answer or answer with a qwestion.
Like: hmmm im what do you think the answer is?
Hmmm thats an interesting qwestion lets circle back on that then ask his own qwestion. Bro needs to learn how to become a politianion or a supuervisor at a big org

    8. Huh… I feel like a issue in this idea is I don’t think the nose jsut "nose" everything, I think it only works if ponokio is actually telling a lie and not just saying something random to check if it’ll grow or not. If that was the case then he’d just be a lie detector where if the police was trying to make someone confess, ponokio could say " this guy robbed a bank" or "this guy didn’t rob a bank" and see if his nose would grow or not
