Rory McIlroy, Dermot Kennedy and Joanne McNally among several Irish stars who attended the Wimbledon Championships this year.
Making a statement by sporting the green jacket awarded to him at this year’s Masters, McIlroy attended the tennis tournament with his wife, Erica Stoll.
In advance of his gigs in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium this week, Kennedy was at the tournament wearing a tan jacket with blue trousers and a white shirt. Fellow singer Hozier was there too, sporting a brown suit with converse.
Elsewhere, reality TV star and presenter Maura Higgins was spotted in a very on-theme look. She wore a white mini dress accompanied by a tennis ball-shaped bag and white shoes which had a tennis ball on each heel.
Other Irish celebrities opted to go for something more colourful than the traditional Wimbledon whites. Comedian McNally wore a short pink mini dress while presenter Angela Scanlon donned a check blazer with blue shorts.
