    1. The police swore my sisters body was nothing more than a trash bag. Their report was 3/4 of a page and 1/2 of it was them talking about how the community kept insisting they retrieve it. They kept insisting it was a waste of time. Eventually the fire department arrived and retrieved her body.

    2. 99% of the time it's NOT a body. They're not going to treat every habitually online true crime addict's fears as an emergency, and we wouldnโ€™t want them to. You don't call out a coroner and homicide detectives every time a bag of garbage is seen in a river.

    3. I mean she did the right thing, not her fault that the knuckleheads they sent in to deal with it don't have a serious bone in their body.

    4. Possibly reason:The bag shown in the video is OBVIOUSLY smaller than 1.30 meters. And if it was a real body, nobody would just throw the trash out.And the shape is too specific like a trash bag than the other type, and no shape of anybody smaller than 1.30.

    5. It couldnโ€™t be a body, the smell would be pungent and distinctive to normal trash, the bag clearly isnโ€™t holding anything heavy, even if it was those appear to be normal trash bags which wouldnโ€™t be able to hold the weight of a person. Ignoring all of that though, this is a great example of working with tools you have when the ones you need arenโ€™t available, the officers did the thing Russia has built a society on this idea and get called geniuses by people on twitter.

    6. A police officer probably opens 500 misterious trash bags before finding a body during their career. I understand their attitude honestly. Better that than being on edge and screwing up with your body in apprehensions every time these kinds of calls come up.

    7. A lot of people making excuses for these cops about how they probably knew it wasnโ€™t a body need to watch more true crime. Thereโ€™s a lot of deeply incompetent cops out there who screw up crime scenes and cost victims justice.

    8. i was gonna say trash is worst but then i remembered humans are now 30% plastic on average so even a corpse is horrible for the earth now
