Is there a reason Emily needed to be in this movie? Just for the sake of bringing the whole gang back? Because she wasn't a smart girl otherwise Miranda would've never hired her. I hope this movie is not disappointing but it probably will be tbh.

The three top actresses are … how do you say it? …. not so young anymore and choice roles in Hollywood, even if you are Meryl Streep, don’t come up that often. So … they all needed to give their last hurrah because the only thing I can see in their future is roles as mothers and grandmothers of the heroine, and they all needed an excuse for the big paycheck because, after all, they are all BIG, so they came up with this bull. We, the audience are, after all, not so smart so we will like whatever repetitious crap they come up with. This was a mediocre script, mediocre acting, mediocre everything. Yuck! Nobody takes a little effort to do some quality work any longer. Witness Steven Spielberg in that last piece of crap. Thank G*d for Project Hail Mary, but the rest … they should have stayed at home!
