Jenna Bush Hager rang in America’s 250th birthday with some family fun in the sun and plenty of fireworks.
The TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle co-host gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into her family’s Fourth of July celebration on Wednesday, captioning the post, “Magic of July 🧨🎆✨.”
Jenna shared a series of photos from her holiday weekend, starting with a sweet snapshot with her husband, Henry Hager.
The mother of three also shared a photo with her husband and their three children. In it, the family enjoys a sunset on the beach as her son Hal, 6, hams it up for the camera. Meanwhile, the couple’s daughter Poppy, 10, makes a spirited facial expression and their eldest daughter Mila, 13, leans in, covering her brother’s head with her long hair.
“You have an adorable 🥰 family and your smile is amazing 🙌,” one Instagram user commented.
In another photo, Hal and Henry show off a massive fish they caught. Then, Hal dances around as a bubble machine blows bubbles around him in a video.
While scrolling through the post, some of Jenna’s followers couldn’t believe how quickly Jenna’s children have grown.
“‘Little’ Hal is looking so tall!” one commented.
Another Instagram user wrote, “Love this sweet family! Everyone is so grown up 🥹.”
Since it’s not the Fourth of July without fireworks, Jenna made sure to include several photos and videos of the spectacular fireworks display she witnessed with her family.
Jenna ended her post by sharing a short clip of her cat Maisie chowing down on a fruit plate she prepared for her.
“Love it! 😹🐾🍇🍊🫐 My cat loves apple slices! 🤷🏼♀️Lol!” one Instagram user commented.
Another wrote, “We love a well-balanced kitty!”
On July 7, Jenna shared the same video with Sheinelle Jones during an episode of TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle, prompting her co-host to share a rather strong reaction.
“She loved it. And I said it looks like she’s just licking but no. No, she ate a blackberry.” Jenna explained. “She loves fruit. It’s good for her digestive tract.”
When Sheinelle asked Jenna if she was actually sharing the fruit plate with her cat, Jenna’s body language and facial expression suggested that they had been.
“I can’t. I cannot. The show is over. I can’t,” Sheinelle teased.
