      Oh sick. I actually missed Mockingjay in theatres the first time so now’s a good time to take an edible and pretend I’m back in high school.

      I need to watch the original in the theater! That bloodbath shaky cam was the only scene in any of the movies that portrayed the horror of children killing one another.

      I will be there! I absolutely love these books and movies, watching these in theaters for the first time was truly incredible. I was a very big fan of the books, staying up all night to finish them, and the movies really lived up to my expectations.

      I still remember the experience of seeing the first one, the “I volunteer as tribute” scene was really stunning to witness on the screen. I thought the arena in the Catching Fire (my favorite) was perfect. The “if we burn you burn with us” scene is Mockingjay. Just so many iconic moments that I cannot wait to see on the big screen again!

      My teenager is super into these books and movies now. I read the first three at her bedside while she was in the hospital in 2011. The prequels have been great, too. We will be there!!
