This man clearly stated he got no notification, and even if he did, he clearly doesn’t know how to use a device considering what age he looks and sounds like. This is wrong of the legal authorities and they should do better at ensuring everyone has a bit of notice before they are called to court so they can mentally prepare and ready some money. Old folk like this don’t know how to use emails and phones properly.
Genuinely whats the point of taking him to jail then if he can walk out 15 min later like irs set up just to extort money from people why cant they just let the old man be

Cops shouldn't be allowed to do this unless they have PROOF that the person knew about the court date.
