    1. I love that she's had the opportunity to perform stories that are obviously so meaningful to her. Not all actors are that lucky. And in an age where everyone is so afraid to be sincere or seen as "cringe" I appreciate that she wears her heart on her sleeve and isn't afraid to be emotional

    2. Jenna saying she felt the most herself playing Jenna Rink makes so much sense. I think that’s why 13 Going On 30 resonates with so many girls and women. She feels like a real person we could all relate to and I’m so glad she let us see that side of her 💜

    3. She must still be a little sore on the Elektra film, even though I think that was a better character drama than most people give credit. It definitely gave her more to do than in Daredevil.

    4. I remember when I first watched Love, Simon. That emotional scene between Simon and his mother really made an impression on me. It hit my heart very hard and it doesn’t matter how many times I’ve watched the movie, I cry every single time. It’s such a beautiful conversation between a parent and their child. It’s lovely to see how much that scene still affects Jen. 😊

    5. Jennifer was also awesome in Peppermint and Juno. I grew up watching Alias and I recently saw her talk in an interview about the Alias effect that saw young women signing up to join the CIA. Also. in Love Simon, who didnt laugh when Timothy offers to join Grindr with his son, not knowing what it was. ☺️

    6. I remember that when I was younger, I actually didn’t like how bubbly she was because she played such dark roles. It maybe because I was bullied by people who tried to pass off as bubbly and positive, so I was under the misconception that darkness = comfort.

      Then 13 going on 30 came out…

I’m so glad I was wrong. She is so delightful and talented.

    7. An Alias legacy sequel bringing back Sydney as equal parts Jack and Irena (with a Breaking Bad style moral complexity) could be a fascinating deeper dive into her character IMO. Bring in Syd's daughter as the new Sydney & Sark as the new Sloane type?

    8. Jennifer Garner saying she felt the most like herself playing Jenna Rink makes so much sense. That is exactly why 13 Going on 30 is such an iconic, timeless masterpiece! 🥹❤
