Boericke had made a vow to return Arya to her mother, so he had to pass his life to her to fulfill that vow. It would take something else that significant to cause a 3.0.

Lady Stoneheart would have been so cool on screen! Massive missed opportunity for the show.
Arya will give mercy to her mum. Lady stone heart won't be passing the "gift" on.
Lady Stoneheart is a pivotal character because Cat's actions inadvertently are what killed her son and the northern army.
Not only did she get tricked into taking action against Tyrion, and not only did she ultimately cause the Karstarks to leave by freeing Jaime, but her mistreatment of Jon is what caused Robb to even break the marriage pact in the first place. He saw what Jon endured and didn't want to repeat the mistake of his father. Had Cat properly raised Jon, there's a good chance her son wouldn't have put so much weight behind accidentally getting an unmarried girl pregnant. He would have likely upheld his marriage pact with the Freys.
Once again her actions are actually hurting her family. She's on the verge of executing the 2-3 people in Westeros who feel obligated to protect Sansa and Arya.
I think Lady Stoneheart is also going to be the catalyst for Arya to actually venture North. She's going to return to Westeros obsessed with getting revenge, but seeing the state of her mother is going to make her realize that is no longer life. You can't spend the rest of your days in rage getting revenge on everyone that slighted you. The surviving Stark family is going to converge in the North, and Arya makes the choice to "move on" by leaving the Riverlands.
