You know what, it’s a fun film. If you squint hard enough you won’t see the plot holes. Written by Jack Thorne, who did adolescence.

I love the Enola movies. People just take things too seriously. They’re fun movies & Millie is so charming in that role

I’m really confused by the image they used for this poster. I’m here for a mystery, not a romance

    4. I’m happy for her. The internet loves to tear down everything she wears and all her projects but she’s extremely successful and living her best life.

These are the most harmless and fun films I’ve seen out of Netflix .

We just spent a whole half a decade of people bitching about the lack of non superhero , mid budget films, the kind the get in get out and leave a smile on your face – and yet every single some one is released ? People want to be the worst version of themselves , especially on Reddit .

If you’re surprised that this is doing well than you really need to at least look outside of your own bubble .

Is it high art ? I wouldn’t say so no, it that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun and enjoyable

    6. I’m so here for some good ol fashion harmlessly fun films that are good for the whole family tbh

I love these movies. I don’t care what anyone says; Millie is a fucking delight to watch. She and Louis have great chemistry.

Plus, these are among the few Netflix films that expect you to pay attention. Enola is doing actual detective work. It unfolds like a Sherlock Holmes mystery should. It’s not so complex that you’ll be lost, but it does allow you to sleuth along.

What’s this show (movie?) even about?
I thought she was some kind of child detective, but now it’s starting to look like The Blue Lagoon.

I assume at some point she’ll get a higher price Sandler deal from Netflix than she has now. Netflix likely wants her exclusive to them and nobody else.

Yet other posts about the show are about how it is a disappointment because it has less views than the second.

So easy to control a narrative these days.

Nothing against the film. Just about the media manipulation and agendas.

These movies are meant to be fun. They don’t take themselves too seriously and are cute, which, to be honest, is what I need when the rest of the world feels like it’s on fire. Maybe it’s not a cinematic masterpiece but it’s adorable and I unapologetically love them. The third is probably the weakest installment but it preserved the spirit and was a good girl’s night movie.
