Charlize Theron delivered another unforgettable fashion moment as she stepped onto the red carpet for the Paris premiere of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

The 50-year-old actress looked sensational in a delicate black-and-white Christian Dior gown that combined romantic lace with a dramatically daring silhouette.

Held up by barely-there spaghetti straps, the floor-length creation featured an extremely plunging neckline that extended towards her waist, while its low-cut sides and sheer panels added to the striking effect.

The intricate fabric skimmed Charlize’s svelte figure before falling into a flowing, asymmetrical skirt made from contrasting panels of black and ivory lace.

Turning around for photographers, the Oscar winner revealed the gown’s completely open back and an elaborate black bustle positioned at the waist, which gave the ethereal design an unexpected theatrical flourish.

Charlize allowed the statement dress to take centre stage by keeping the remainder of her look sleek and understated. Her blonde hair was parted neatly down the middle and styled into a low, wet-look ponytail that cascaded down her back.
