I am so sorry that you are dealing with such horrible bigotry. I hope The rest of your cruise goes better and you all

Having fun in the face of adversity…that filled my heart with *all* the emotions.

The sad part is there are so many closeted people in these countries because of their laws. The cruise will still have their fun but I feel bad for the LGTBQ+ people in those countries.

    9. Maybe I’m dumb, but why would the cruise not work this out in advance so that all the passengers are not put out like this. Is it happening after they were allowed in?

    10. He looks like a blonde Paul Rudd! That is some of the highest praise that can be given.

    11. Baby, I want to know who organized this cruise and decided to dock at these ports. Because getting denied entry is the BEST thing that could have happened to you. These organizers are straight up ok with putting you at risk. Not cool.

When I visited Turkey in 2010, I took a day cruise off the southern coast where the official entertainment was a drag queen. She was fabulous and all the Turks loved her (crowd was majority Turkish).

Sad to see how quickly a dictator can change the tides.
