The version of Wuthering Heights in that movie was so bad I cannot recall such a trial to watch/ie: bad movie in decades. I was so disappointed. The director and Margot's production company really bombed out. It totally destroyed the actual content of the novel — about class in Victorian Britain, still a feature of British society today, and multi-generational trauma. The unresolved differences between the two main characters are reduced to a movie about fabric, a petulant Cathy and a muddy version of the book which was truly hard to watch. It is rare for me to dislike a movie so much. Margot is not doing herself any favours if she is going to produce everything she is going to feature in. I like her as an actress and hope to see her in better movies than that terrible Doors thing with Colin Farrell and now, even worse, the fabrics version of Wuthering Heights
