It’s important to remember that this era of religious zealots exists as backlash to so many people stepping away from religion. You might feel overwhelmed, and a quote like this reminds you, you’re not alone.

Twin Temple fucking rules, I’m so glad they’re getting all this publicity ❤️

Truly baffled by the way so-called “Satanic Panic” nonsense is making a comeback. People acting as if using satanic imagery is the worst, most immoral thing a person could possibly do is sending me. Hate to send like an edgy 13 year old atheist but Satan isn’t real you guys. There is, however, a very real cabal of pedophilic billionaires running the world and we’re upset about rock n roll “devil worship”!? In 2026!?!? Be so fr.

Wow interesting, I was always under the impression that Jack was a practicing Catholic. Apparently not.

    5. Fuck yeah. “Do as i say or suffer forever” is the kind of threat made up by a child.

I feel like in 2026, Satanic Panic is mostly made up bullshit. I genuinely don’t think people care. Conservatives just like being upset.

    7. My housemate was telling me about this and was like “can you believe they’re being called satanists like it’s a bad thing?!” And gestures to a TT print in our living room. It’s naked women and satanic symbols with the lines “I am a witch, I turn to Satan, I don’t have sex for procreation”.

It’s my favourite thing in our house and I think it’s everything that conservatives are terrified of.

    8. For those who don’t know Jack White was raised Catholic, he was a choir/altar boy for the Archdiocese of Detroit and considered joining priesthood when young. Catholicism always played a big part in his songs and aesthetic. But he has always been on the right side of social issues still and I’m glad he is setting it straight for all the bigots out there in 2026.

Hail Satan? is quite the interesting documentary on Hulu. Satanism is definitely not what most people think it is, I say that as a Catholic.

It really weirds me out to see people say things have “demonic energy” and the like with a straight face on social. Things like astroworld where people say it was soul harvesting or something. When did people get like this?
