    1. He basically said that these shows should be about fun and escapism for the fans not lectures about
      political opinions

Two of the best artist I have seen live have been Springsteen and the stones, both have not forgotten they are entertainers first and artists second, and both play the hits you want them to play, but one or the other want to add something extra like play a new song or say something political thats fine by me, especially as my politics line up more with Springsteen than with Jagger’s.

On a side note, Trump is mentioned in Keith Richards (brilliant) autobiography and its far favourable.

Look, Mick, maybe in ‘ol Blighty, 56 million people care what you have to say. The Boss is using his voice to express himself. He’s not concerned that will cost him his audience because, well, it won’t, and no one’s gonna tell him whether or not to perform.

Love the stones’ music but sticking with the Boss on this one. Fuck jagger, that silly posh little wanker.

    5. When my dad was alive years ago he got hyped to watch this free rolling stones show on directtv. It was one of the absolute worst things ive seen musically on earth.

    6. This is more likely newspaper generates swipe where one doesn’t exist for clicks. Jagger stays out of politics but he’s gonna start something with Springsteen? Ok sure.

The world is unfortunately more political , when you have so called news networks editorializing the messaging.

You can barely find real news, because the so called liberal media has been purchased by demons. I suggest Mick go back & listen to Gimmie Shelter.

There’s no one single right answer. The important thing is Springstein doesn’t call ordinary people stupid or ignorant, no matter their politics. He’s only punching up, not down or sideways.

Same ppl who will lap this speech up are the same ones that made Dave Chappelle start “lecturing fans” with 20 minutes long rants with no punchlines…
