      At the time he was married to “E.T.” screenwriter Melissa Mathison, hence the “E.T.” button on his shorts. He filmed a scene in the movie as Elliot’s principal but it was cut from the theatrical version.

      One of the best, most esoteric compliments i’ve received is someone sending me this pic saying that my style makes them think of harrison ford.

      Unfortunately I don’t have his looks. I just often wear sweaters and long sleeves with short shorts 😅

      Props to him for helping to promote E.T. at Cannes even though Spielberg cut his cameo out of the final film.

      While his stay in France during Cannes 1982 was not controversial, his trip to France in 2003 was more contested. In a move many consider god awful and fucking stupid, he flew to France to hand Roman Polanski his Oscar personally. Polanski couldn’t attend the Oscars himself because HE RAPED A FUCKING CHILD and could not enter the US without being arrested.
