Here’s your first trailer for Tony Gilroy’s new drama Behemoth! starring Pedro Pascal, Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor and Will Arnett.
Searchlight has just dated the movie for December 4th, 2026, right in the awards season corridor.
The synopsis reads: “A gifted cellist, Alex Serian (Pedro Pascal), returns home to Los Angeles after 20 years on the road. Music, which has been the constant, all-consuming river of his life, begins to carry Alex on an adventure that will change him forever.”
Michael Clayton filmmaker Gilroy wrote and directed and produces with Sanne Wohlenberg and John Gilroy. Music comes from The Behemoth! Collective.
It’s a big week for trailers with WB’s Digger catching fire yesterday after giving off Tropic Thunder meets Dr Strangelove and Vice vibes. Behemoth! feels like a meeting of Maestro and Tár. At least on first glance.
