It seems like while ABC has had a lot of great hits from “Full House” to “Modern Family”,they have a lot of short lived wonders that typically would’ve been greater if they were to last longer. A lot of these shows got clipped after 1 or 2 seasons (Happy Endings got 3 so that’s why it isn’t here). What short lived ABC shows do you remember well and which ones did I leave off this list?

Animated Clerks is one of the shows I love to quote, but almost no one I know has seen it so the references that do slip out result in completely blank stares. 😩

Jericho. I remember loving that first season.

Edit… Did not see it said ABC… I have no idea what Jericho was on

Was Suburgatory ABC? Stacked cast too, I’m surprised it was so short-lived.

    4. Clerks the Animated Series is one of my favorite shows ever. Not because the writing is phenomenal or anything, it’s just fun and silly

GCB!!! omg that show has felt like a fever dream- I loved it so much lol no ones ever fucking heard of it but I ate that shit up , especially coming from the Bible belt. I wish it was available on streaming

    6. I don’t remember Selfie as much as I remember them advertising the hell out of it and then forgetting they even aired it not even 2 months later.

I watched Teen Angel repeats on Disney. Now I want to go find the show to rewatch.

I used to love Suburgatory as a teen.

Side note: the Olsen twins always seemed so grown up and cool to me, looking at the Two of a Kind cover as a now adult I’m reminded of how little they were and also how absolutely constantly they churned out content? I hope their lives these days are peaceful!

      Galavant deserved a season 3.

Also, Don’t Trust the B was the victim of bad tv meddling and I wish it had the chance it deserved

    11. Teen Angel has been my personal Celebrity Number 6 for years and you just solved it for me. I genuinely thought I must have dreamed it

Never over the cancellation of Pushing Daisies!! If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it. Even without a proper ending, it’s still worth it.

Trophy Wife, a cute sitcom with Malin Akerman and Bradley Whitford. And The Family, with Joan Allen .

Better Off Ted! That show was so ahead of its time. Pushing Daisies too. Discovering the gift that is Lee Pace… changed my life…

Selfie was great. It did such a good job updating Pygmalion to the social media age. Karen Gillan’s karaoke version of Chandelier is some of the best acting while singing I’ve ever seen.

I’m currently rewatching my personal favorite, Happy Town, as Sam Neill played a mysterious film memorabilia dealer in it.
