    1. There’s nothing wrong with this. They’re allowed to do this. The US does it anytime an American citizen dies elsewhere

Even if the citizens get hurt by the legal action it’s only right … those detention centers are concentration camps. People aren’t the same once they leave and so many don’t get medical care. My best friends dad was sent there and it took a week to get him his medication and that was “ one of the good ones “. You could be deported in California and be sent to Texas. If you don’t have loved ones who know where you are, you are screwed. My friend and her family have been permanently damaged by this and they don’t know if they’ll ever be together again. It’s crazy. Our neighbors in Mexico were never meant to be treated in such horrifying ways and kept in such disgusting conditions. So long for southern hospitality! There a kids who have died … In Texas an infant was sent to a hospital in critical condition. Its madness. Yet out of 10 people in Texas I guarantee I could find a MAGA or republican who’d vote to keep the detention centers and promote ice. These people won’t understand until it hurts them.

If any other country’s were having their citizens executed in a foreign country, they’d do the same.

Before anyone brings up Mexico’s own failings to its citizens; would you rather they just stay quiet?

We have a responsibility to house any and all people being detained safely and humanely. If a society says we are going to detaine or incarcerate people for any amount of time then that society has to be held accountable for the treatment of those individuals while detain. Human rights arr a thing. If we say that we believe all people are created equal and have inalienable rights, that means all fucking people.
