In the ad, they only had 15 seconds to read out the Whopper’s sandwich ingredients, so they decided to trigger peoples Google Home devices to read it out instead. The google devices would read out the product description from Wikipedia, but it backfired when people began changing what the Wikipedia page said…

    1. Me, with a considerably low tech home for the generation. And only a single smart device ( phone that's been de-googled) in the entire place.

      This commercial had zero effect.on me.

      If they want me to go to BK more often. Open one in my town so I don't have to drive 15 minutes north or 20 minutes south to get to one. Same goes for Wendy's and DQ.

      Back then you couldn't beat the fact the Mackys was the only fast food slop shop in town. And was 5 minutes from my apartment.

    2. That ad is such an asshole thing to do. Pleasseee I do not want interactive ads now. Googles and Alexas are so hard to shut off too. Whoever thought of that should suffer.
