ON SET of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe: Cast on Reinventing ‘Big Bang’ for HBO (Exclusive)
The cast of ‘The Big Bang Theory’s new spinoff, ‘Stuart Fails to Save the Universe,’ chat exclusively with ET’s Cassie DiLaura on set to discuss this fourth series in the ‘Big Bang’ franchise. Kevin Sussman, Brian Posehn, John Russ and Lauren Lapkus reflect on reprising their roles for this multiverse spinoff, which finds their characters accidentally triggering the apocalypse. Co-creator Chuck Lorre reveals the idea for the show dates back more than a decade. Plus, they discuss being able to push the envelope with things like the F-bomb thanks to the show landing on HBO Max. The series premieres on the streamer July 23, with new episodes rolling out weekly.
