You want a martyr for your cause, so bad…why do you pick one that spread hate?
When you attack the people who attack him…Does it pain you when they use his own words of hatred to deny your claims?

There is no journalistic value in doing free promotion for a GoFundMe-type project that sucks shit. “To be unveiled” doing a lot of lifting here given that, at the time of publishing, the fund has raised ~$1,500 of its $150,000 goal and I’m not sure how that money will get the statue installed in Times Square although admittedly I’m not interested in any further research on the topic. It’s a grift, this article shouldn’t exist, and I’m cranky it’s been posted here. Old woman yells at cloud.

It’s raised 1% of the funds it needs to even be built and the quote about it being destroyed are just from Instagram users.
It also hasn’t been signed off by anyone as to where it would go, which, you can’t just buy a statue and install it in public, you need permission which they clearly don’t have.

When jello Biafra ran for mayor of San Francisco, one of his campaign promises was to elect a statue of Dan white and have produce vendors sell rotten food to throw at the statue. I think this should happen now.

Every attempt at trying to make Kirk a martyr or some sort of heroic figure has only made him a bigger joke. Nevermind his wife who is making any “legacy” he might’ve left even more of a farce, this whole song and dance is tired

I love how the right demanded sympathy and then it led people who never heard of him to look him up and see all the hateful, homophobic, sexist, racist, bigoted bullshit he said when he was around.
