Sticks & Cones opened last month in Paddington Street, Marylebone.
The buttercream-coloured shop is the creation of Petra Tanos, a Marylebone mum who wanted a place where locals could enjoy quality desserts after hearing her kids plead for ice cream but the best she could offer was a pre-packaged lolly from the corner shop.

And her parlour clearly found favour with Hampstead resident Harry Styles, who treated Londoners to free ice cream from Sticks & Cones as a thank you for his Together Together residency at Wembley last month.
In an Instagram post last week they said the gesture had inspired a new hit flavour Watermelon Sugar Sorbet.
“Yep… that sign some of you spotted on our door was real 👀

“Last Sunday, to thank London for such a warm welcome during his tour, THE @harrystyles treated the neighbourhood to Sticks & Cones. We feel incredibly lucky to have been chosen to make it happen. It inspired our latest hit flavour, Watermelon Sugar Sorbet.”

Now the shop is preparing to celebrate National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 19.
Ice-cream lovers can enjoy their range of flavours and specials which are introduced each week, with Grown Up Vanilla, Mint Stracciatella, and Blue Moon ice cream – fior di latte ice cream with a touch of blue spirulina – among the choices.
Flavours of the moment include tiramisu, with chunks of savoiardi in coffee and swirled with real mascarpone.

There are also ice lollies, or “sticks” influenced by paletas from Latin America, in flavours like pineapple yuzu cardamom and lychee raspberry rose.
Ms Tanos said: “We make everything from scratch, properly – no shortcuts, no artificial anything.
“Sticks & Cones is for friends, families and visitors – anyone in Marylebone who appreciates a really good scoop, in a warm and friendly setting.”
The ice cream is made in the gelato tradition and served at a slightly colder temperature in scoops and the flavours use premium ingredients including fresh cream and milk from The Estate Dairy, chocolate from Original Beans, and fresh fruit from Natoora.
Sticks & Cones also prides itself on its coffee, serving beans from East London roastery Climpson & Sons.
The shop’s interior, with its palette of primary colours, has seating for up to 20 at the back and caters to children with an oversized magnetic wall and a “pin your picture” board.
Colourful sketches of every flavour hang behind the serving counter, adding to the community atmosphere.
Ice-cream fanatics can also book the shop for up to 10 people for private events that involve making and tasting ice cream.
Sticks & Cones is located at 41 Paddington St, London W1U. sticksandcones.co.uk
