It looked like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s former marital home in the 90210 area of Beverly Hills had finally nabbed a buyer after nearly two years on and off the market with multiple price reductions. But the ink wasn’t even dry before the highly publicized deal abruptly fell through.
Branden Williams and Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates, who share the listing, had just confirmed the Georgian-style megamansion was under a contingent contract with a well-known figure in the tech and finance world whose identity remained under wraps. However, the mystery buyer has already walked away, leaving the 5.2-acre estate available once again.
The couple purchased the Beverly Crest residence in 2023 for $61 million. They officially split only a year later and put the 38,000-square-foot abode up for sale. Originally asking $68 million, the price was reduced to $50 million in May, after Affleck gifted his share of the property to Lopez in an amended settlement.
The backyard is anchored by a massive infinity-edge swimming pool.

Set atop a flat promontory overlooking Benedict Canyon, the entire spread, completed in 2000, was renovated in 2017 by developer Gala Asher and extensively updated by the pair. It includes a total of 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms across a main home, a 5,000-square-foot guesthouse, a caretaker residence, and a two-bedroom guardhouse. There’s also a massive boomerang-shaped infinity pool, a 12-car garage, and an expansive motor court with parking for up to 80 vehicles.
Inside the primary residence are a skylight-topped entrance gallery, numerous living and dining rooms, and two kitchens. A sprawling primary suite comes with a mountain-view balcony, a fireside bathroom, and a blush-hued glam room, while other luxuries include a movie theater and a sports complex hosting a gym, a boxing ring, a bar-equipped lounge, and pickleball and basketball courts.

The erstwhile duo has since moved on to other residential circumstances—Affleck to $20.5 million digs in the Sullivan Canyon community on the border of Brentwood and Pacific Palisades, with Lopez landing at a $17.5 million Hamptons-style estate formerly owned by John Fogerty in the suburban L.A. enclave of Hidden Hills. Affleck also lays claim to a secluded riverfront country estate in Georgia that he picked up in 2003, back when he and Lopez first dated and where they held their lavish wedding celebration in 2022.
