I doubt that Pamela Anderson — eternal Baywatch babe and Canadian icon — needs an introduction. Her skincare brand, Sonsie, however, might be less familiar. Anderson joined Sonsie, a vegan and cruelty-free skincare brand, in 2024 as co-founder and owner. The actress, who has famously ditched makeup in favour of bare-skin beauty, has called Sonsie her skincare “one-stop shop.”
Unlike so many other promise-the-world beauty brands, Sonsie isn’t trying to sell you a miracle. Sure, it’s “great for mature skin,” but peruse its website, and you won’t find anti-wrinkle, anti-aging, turn-back-the-clock rhetoric.
Sonsie is “skincare that meets you where you are” — wherever that “where you are” is. For me, a woman loyal to the brand’s Multi Moisture Cream, it’s being in my very early 30s, with oily, acne-prone skin, the first hints of fine lines and a habit of overdoing it with prescription-grade tretinoin.
I’ve been using Sonsie’s Multi Moisture Cream twice daily for five months and, in the spirit of Pamela Anderson, have forgone makeup throughout. Below, I share my honest review of the do-it-all cream — $73 is steep; is it worth it? — plus included several more skincare favourites beloved by the rich and famous.

This long-lasting hydration cream is formulated with 12 per cent glycerin and 0.5 per cent hyaluronic acid. It can be used as a daily moisturizer, a mask, or as an overnight treatment.

Sonsie’s Multi Moisture Cream is an invisible, multipurpose cream for visible skin restoration and long-term hydration. It contains 12 per cent glycerin to prevent moisture loss and support the skin barrier and 0.5 per cent hyaluronic acid to reduce the appearance of fine lines and eliminate dry, uncomfortable skin — without the greasy feeling.
According to Sonsie, its Multi Moisture Complex is clinically shown to maintain 20 per cent more hydration than before using it, even after 24 hours. It’s safe for sensitive skin and is Leaping Bunny-certified — the “gold standard” for cruelty-free products. While it’s designed for the skin above your neck as a daily moisturizer, a mask, or an overnight treatment, you can use it anywhere dry skin is a concern.

Why I like it
I have oily, acne-prone skin, but I also have a terrible habit of overdoing it on retinol, so more often than I would like to admit, my oily T-zone is met with patches of dry skin on my chin.
For the past few months, my skincare routine has been tretinoin every other day, Caudalie’s Vinoperfect Radiance Serum Vitamin C Alternative morning and night, followed by the Sonsie Multi Moisture Cream, and I am happy to report that it’s working for me.
I have tested many, many moisturizers (a welcome perk of the job!), and Sonsie’s Multi Moisture Cream is one of the best, at least in recent memory. It’s moisturizing and calming, especially if, like me, you’re dealing with a stressed-out skin barrier. Went a little fast and loose with retinol? This Multi Moisture Cream will help. I haven’t had any sensitivity or irritation since integrating it into my routine, even with every-other-day tretinoin. It’s a heavier cream, but it’s not greasy or too heavy for daytime use.
Is the tube expensive? For sure. However, a little bit does go a long way, especially if you’re only using it on your face. I’ve never used it on other dry patches on my body, but reviewers say it’s “wonderfully moisturizing” on your elbows, hands, knees and other areas that could use some TLC.

Why others like it
The Multi Moisture Cream has garnered more than 280 reviews and a near-perfect 4.8-star rating from Sonsie shoppers. It was an Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner in 2025 and has received a ton of praise online, especially from users over 40.
It’s the “absolute best moisturizer I have ever used, and I have used several over the years,” writes one reviewer. “I am 73 years old, I use it every morning and evening, and my complexion has never looked better! Fine lines have disappeared and deep wrinkles are 80 per cent improved! I also use the serum and adapt cream! Do yourself a favour and try all three …. You will not be disappointed!”

It’s a “nice, rich cream,” comments another. “I have eczema, which causes itching and burning, [and] this cream soothes it.” It’s “worth the money,” they say.
“I’ve tried many moisturizers over time; I have sensitive skin, so finding the right one has been challenging, not to mention expensive. Sonsie Multi Moisture Cream is my favourite — zero irritation, no greasy feeling, just calm, happy, supple skin. I make sure I never run out! Also nice as an under-eye cream,” writes a third shopper.
However, while the five-star praise is almost unanimous, some found it “too oily” and wrote that it makes their skin “look wet”—something to keep in mind when placing your order.
The verdict
I genuinely love the Sonsie Multi Moisture Cream, but I understand that the $74 price tag will be prohibitive for some. If you have dry, sensitive or distressed skin, I think it’s worth the investment — especially as a little bit goes a long way. However, if your skin is oilier and doesn’t enjoy rich hydration, it may not be for you. I have oily skin, and I have had a great experience, but some reviewers say otherwise. All in all, I really like it and will continue to use it until the tube runs dry. Will I re-buy it afterwards? Only time will tell.
