    Lemonade recipe:
2 c. Sugar (I dissolve the sugar in 2 cups of water on the stovetop ober medium heat to keep it from getting gritty.)
Juice from 4 Lemons and an orange
Add sugar simple syrup and juices to a gallon pitcher. Add enough ice and water to make a gallon. Garnish with lemon slices and meadow tea leaves/stalks if you have them. As the lemonade sits the lemonade will take on some of the flavor of the meadow tea. So I like to make it a couple hours ahead of time and set in the fridge or use an insulated vessel.

    Watermelon Sorbet recipe:
Fill Creami containers to max fill line with scoops of watermelon. Smash it a little to make sure it’s nice and full with not too much air. To each container, add the juice from half a lemon and a tablespoon of honey. Add a pinch of salt and freeze at least 24 hours. Use the sorbet button on your Creami to spin.
Enjoy just like that, or scoop into a cup, cover with lemon lime soda (such as Sprite) and enjoy as a float.

Fruit Cookie Pizza: (I doubled this for a sheet pan. The following makes enough for a pizza pan. )
    For cookie base:
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. softened butter
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 c. chocolate chips
Cream butter, and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time. Then vanilla. Mix flour, baking soda, salt in a separate bowl and add slowly to stand mixer. Finally add chocolate chips. Bake at 350°F until edges begin to brown. After cookie has cooled, top with:

One 8-oz package of cream cheese, 1/3 c. sugar, 8 oz Cool whip, whipped together.

Top with berries, mint leaves, chocolate drizzle and more!

    1. Hi Megan. Try this method for boiling eggs. Add eggs to boiling water. Reduce temperature just to simmer. Simmer for 13 min. Drain and add eggs to ice bath for 5 min. Peel. This is from The Pioneer Woman. It works so well!! Love the cooking video today.

    2. I've been needing some inspiration for cooking lately. I've also been enjoying making fun drinks as we've also been having some very hot weather in England, my favourite has been apple and pear cordial mixed with lemon and lime sparkling water.

    3. The reason your Mom's eggs are hard to peel. is there to fresh. I know it sound weird but wait about a week and they will peel a lot easier. Oh I love that definition "wicked" pickles. I also keep my pickle juice and cut up mini cukes and make more pickles uses the juice from store bought pickles. Love seeing all of Josh's helpers. Wow That is amazing Halo

    4. LOVE YOUR VLOGS YOU ARE DEFINITELY ONE OF MY FAVORITES ❤ I LOVE YOUR FAMILY ❤I AM NOT A MENNONITE ,I am an Apostalic Pentecostal but I adore your Family and how you live out your faith It is so precious ❤

    5. I love making a traditional caesar salad – but why use anchovy paste when you can just buy a tin of anchovies in oil and use that? So much nicer. I like to add some cold chicken chunks and cold hard-boiled egg quarters to mine for some more protein.

I've been making your refrigerator pickles on repeat since you first showed us them – but I use cider and white wine vinegar rather than white distilled vinegar, nicer flavour. I also add a peeled garlic clove and/or some mustard seeds for a bit more 'kick' – yum!

    6. Loved this video Megan. Watching your children not only help out in the kitchen as well as whelping their Dad with the grill is beautiful to watch. As a church pianist, I am interested in the name of the hymn book you use at church. The songs are beautiful. All the recipes look delicious. Your solid red dress and solid black dress were my favorites. 🌷

    7. The food looked absolutely delicious!! I'm sure your Church was so happy to have your cooking. Everything you make always looks so good!! And that fruit top cookie dessert yum!!

    8. The fruit cookie pizza was absolutely beautiful! I used to make something similar to this years ago, and you’ve inspired me to make it again.

    9. Megan, I boil fresh eggs often and the only thing that I found that works is using the instant pot. Use the trivet and the cup or two of water. High pressure for 3 min. Quick release then ice bath. Then to peel, put them in a pot with a lid, shake until all the peels are cracked all over. Peel them under running water or in a bowl of water. The peels slip right off! Hope you try it ❤

    10. Ooh, that watermelon lime looked so good! I wonder if maple syrup would work 🤔 not sure if the flavor profile is right, but I use it quite often as a sweetener. You have such a talent for making everything so beautiful, but that cake was especially gorgeous! You are a great food artist 😁

    11. All you have made looks delicious. Thank you for sharing. PS. Add vinegar to the water you boil the eggs in. Peels well. Usually about 1/3 cup for 6 eggs. I actually just wing it. My son has chickens and it helps me with peeling eggs which my husband prefers for breakfast.

    12. That red dress was stunning on you! And your hair looked so cute too! ❤ Your cookie pizza looked amazing ! Also the song Gratitude was beautiful and catchy you had playing during the cookie making.
