An individual is in custody following an incident at NBC’s ‘Today’ show studios in New York City. The New York Police Department arrested a “disorderly person” inside 30 Rockefeller Center, where the morning show is taped, just after 9 a.m. on July 16, a spokesperson for the department confirmed to E! News. Multiple outlets have reported that the detained individual allegedly asked for Al Roker, managing to evade security on site. The person then entered “an unauthorized area in a vestibule near Studio 1A” and approached Roker’s co-host Craig Melvin, a representative for ‘Today’ confirmed to E! News.
