So *this* is what happens when your entire workforce is replaced by AI…

But who could possibly have known? …Oh? Everyone that isn’t a billionaire, you say?

Either that or it is really true that they all just have a massive humiliation fetish ig (?!)

Extremely disturbing. Very very informative video though, thank you for sharing.

I think Kalshi is dumb it’s gambling. You’re putting your money on things you can’t control, and most people aren’t going to come out ahead in the long run. I’d rather save my money than risk it on random outcomes just hoping to get lucky.

    4. Just a reminder that prediction markets like these were proposed after 9/11 as a way to get people with insider info to try and use that info to make money. In fact the entire idea of prediction markets is based on the idea that people with specialized knowledge (ie insiders) would place bets based on what they knew to cash in.

The whole point is for people to cheat. Anyone placing a bet without some specialized knowledge is a sucker.

    5. States’ rights, eh? Is it….normal for the federal government to sue states? Even when they aren’t regulating platforms the president’s son has a financial stake in?

    6. As an Australian its really interesting to see the discourse around sports gambling in the US. Gambling is so normalised here and pretty much part of our culture 🥲

Not a prediction market it’s freaking gambling. Calling it something else is a complete lie. Meanwhile people are going to lose their money their homes their relationships and possibly their lives to gambling

    8. The people creating the bets can control the outcomes? Like “someone” aka trump can post a bet like “trump blinks 35 times on camera” and then just blink 35 times for a paycheck? And people gamble on this earnestly?

Was wondering why I kept hearing about this betting company all of a sudden on nearly every social platform I use, plus podcasts. Everything bad ties back to this administration.

We need to send gambling back to seedy casinos and the mob where it belongs.
