Psy and this song paved the way. Young and old knew this song, and you couldn’t go for more than 30 minutes without hearing it the entire summer and fall… Oppa Gangnam Style!

Man we were definitely at a peaceful place back then to all be united by this one song 😭

World was much more peaceful, like everyone around the world were dancing to this

    4. There’s something about the shaky-leg dance (starting at 00:16) that I fucking LOVE lol

    5. it’s so funny i logged on to see this today. me and my husband have been singing this song for the past week and making up our own parodies.

when this song came out, we were still kids, the world was a happier place, and a lot of folks that are going to come across today this weren’t even old enough to use the Internet yet.

      crazy!

    6. Were you really at a house party in 2012 if a group of young men weren’t doing the dance at some point?

      Ugh good times.

I’ve seen other performances by him and he’s an incredible performer, even now, in his mid-late 40s.

Gangnam Style wasn’t just a hit, it was one of those rare songs that literally everyone knew whether they wanted to or not.
