He’s always been my favorite to come out of Project Runway š
Stunning. My hot take is that if you canāt design for plus size, you arenāt as good of a designer as you think. I feel the same about if you are a hairstylist and canāt cut curly hair properly.
Iām so glad to see Nicole Byers look in here. That dress is everything.
Iāve been obsessed with that purple dress on Nicole Byer since I first laid eyes on it. Literally my āif I win the lottery there will be signsā is owning a dress like that, itās just so stunning
I love Sirianoās designs and eye for fashion. I remember Leslie Jones having an event and nobody would dress her until Siriano stepped up. He proves that itās not difficult to dress larger bodies, and so beautifully as well.
Holy crap he can design for any body size! Those are all absolutely stunning and show off their bodies so beautifully, rather than hiding them.

The colors he uses are absolutely stunning! š 6 is my favorite of these I think.
While I would argue that aside from general feminity, Christian Siriano doesn’t have the strongest design language, he has _always_ consistently designed inclusively, before, during, and after it was the cool thing to do.
I think it’s also important to note that his plus-size designs aren’t the same general design over and over again. There’s a variety to the silhouettes and shows strength in design.

Heās my favourite – at any red carpet event I always seek out his designs. He always makes his clients look good and you can feel that they know it too. Thatās what happens when you make clothes to fit people rather than have people fit the clothes. Heās a baller.
I didnāt realize Melanie Lynskey was considered plus size. Isnāt she like a size 8?
I looooove his designs so much, and I adore his commitment to dressing anyone no matter the age, size, etc.
There was an exhibit of his work going to different art museums a couple of years ago and it was STUNNING.
Also the time he did Leslie Jones and she looked amazing and has continued to wear his pieces to great affect.
I love how he dresses women in clothes that they clearly love wearing and feel fantastic in. He is SO good at custom work – I donāt always love his runway collections but when heās got a client in front of him heās fantastic at making an outfit that they feel like a million dollars in. And heās clearly a really good cutter – so many designers canāt really fit a garment but heās so good at tailoring. Plus itās not like theyāre cookie-cutter designs. He makes stuff that suits the wearerās taste and personality – heās done some red carpet stuff that I personally havenāt loved but the person wearing it clearly does because they look like theyāre having the best time.
He did a plus size influencerās (@heyseantaylor) wedding gown for her Bridgerton themed wedding and omg, STUNNING. Itās so romantic and timeless!!
What I love is that he lets big women be big! He doesnāt just do slimming fits and prints for plus size. Heās willing to play with volume and unusual textures in a way most designers wouldnāt for a larger client.
So much of the time, you see a non-sample-size actress wearing a gorgeous dress but you know sheās wearing more shapewear than dress to get into it. His clients always look comfortable.
What I love about his designs is he is not trying to hide plus size bodies but just fit them impeccably. Love the two piece from his runway show (slide 3).
