Will Smith Is Asked to Testify in Lawsuit Against Jada Pinkett Smith | E! News

Will Smith’s former friend Bilaal Salaam is seeking testimony from the Oscar winner in his $3 million lawsuit against the actor’s ex Jada Pinkett Smith, per court documents obtained by E! News. In an email exchange attached to a motion filed by Jada’s legal team July 15, Salaam—who alleges the actress had orchestrated a smear campaign against him—said he wanted to devote the first 10 minutes of a 30-minute call with lawyers to address his request to depose Will, with whom Jada shares son Jaden Smith, 28, and daughter Willow Smith, 25. However, Jada’s attorney—who stated in the filing that her client “denies all such allegations” from Salaam—argued there was “nothing to meet and confer about” regarding the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum.
