An old person looking for someone at a place that they no longer live or might never have lived could also be Alzheimer's. The fact that he was charged definitely makes things a lot more suspicious, maybe somebody that gets drunk a lot and has a bad habit and a long rap sheet of this behavior and they finally decided to give him some serious charges? I definitely agree it is weird but just wanted to throw some other possibilities out there
