      Take it from someone who had friends that applied to ICE and got in, the agency fast tracked a lot of these hires before the background check is complete. That’s should tell you everything already, and if that’s not worst they cut their training down from a couple a months to 47 days. This is a whole ass disaster waiting to happen,

      Least surprising headline imaginable. At this point, it’s basically a requirement for ICE agents to be trigger happy, violent & abusive.

      These dudes get less than 50 days of training, allegedly. ICE hires anyone with a pulse and the only thing they care about is trainees passing the physical exam and meeting the quotas issued by Stephen Miller and the Trump administration. Generally speaking, they will look past anything for that.

      This is by design. Stephen Miller wants people who are violent, racist, and full of grievances that they will take out on those they hate, just like him. 

      There’s no training or reform that is going to fix a system that is working as intended. We want trials!

      ice cannot be reformed. same with a lot of our government agencies, but i hope ice will get abolished first since it’s the one murdering innocent civilians the most frequent right now

      Can’t do a hiring blitz without rushing the process, can’t do mass deportations with diligent review of documentation

      surely not the xenophobic domestic terrorist organization hiring people woth violent tendencies! what’s next? hiring unqualified incels for intelligence agencies? removing qualified staff from national park services? transforming cultural centers into some kind of altar to stupidity? removing public health guardrails?

      or perhaps trying to out corrupt fifa, maybe that one will work!

      I just want to make a side note and say that it’s crazy that this guy had no DV charges after all that abuse. Just a (easily referenced) paper trail of civil actions against him. Like I think the civil stuff should have been plenty to bar him from any armed job forever, but still there should have been a criminal record as well.
