Love Jenifer. I especially enjoyed listening to her audio book Walking in My Joy in these Streets. She narrates it, and reads the ๐ŸŠ ๐Ÿ‘น to filth.

Don’t require actors and musicians to devote their lives to learning everything about foreign politics and disputes so they can make informed salient points about them.

      Just make films and music.

I love this woman SO MUCH. She is the absolute best version of an elder and is my favorite podcast guest! She will tell her story and talk her shit, but she always brings it back to community and preserving our collective humanity.

Long live the Black Mother of Hollywood!

    4. Sheโ€™s a legend for good reason. And I love that she has used her platform and voice to advocate for others. This is another example of that. She cares. (And has that amazing talent.)

If there are celebs out there who genuinely care for Gaza but don’t say anything, they might be just as bad as people who at ideologically committed to Israel. Maybe they don’t trust that anyone will have their back, but the people speaking out won’t trust you because you don’t have theirs.

And there’s zero reason not to use your platform to talk about Sudan and the Congo. The public opinion is nowhere near as divisive on that.
