      I’m genuinely surprised that they allowed anyone to sing live. That’s usually a no go at major events like this due to the limited time to set up equipment and inability to do final mic checks. Madonna still sounded like she was lip syncing but I clocked that BTS was live right away.

      Who the hell thought it was a good idea for Bieber to sing a slow ballad in the middle of the World Cup, one of most high-energy events in the world?!

      You know I am not morally opposed to the idea of a halftime show at the world cup final but JFC at least give us a good show. This felt disjointed and embarrassing. Justin Bieber completely killed whatever momentum the Muppets and BTS were trying to get going. The ending felt cheesy and hypocritical with two morally corrupt men, Trump and Infantino, sitting there. Shakira gave it her best but she can’t do everything.
