Grabbing his neck like that is a level of violent that goes beyond just the shoving and yelling which is already expected from them. What villains, the lot of them.

Such loser behavior and mentality, they really thought they were gonna be handed the World Cup just like the last one. Hope they’re greeted with the same disrespect when they have to face their fans back home.

Wildly unacceptable. Paredes and Almada should both be suspended from all matches for half a season by FIFA for that.

    4. I really hope FIFA do a thorough review of all of these types of incidents and the inconsistent refereeing decisions over this tournament, particularly where Argentina are concerned. I wonder if sanctions will actually happen because things like this are ruining the game.

    5. Argentina have shown who they are this World Cup, through the behavior of their fans and through the actions of their players. Glad they are no longer champs.

He attacked TWO PEOPLE. The ref didn’t do anything to protect these players. And now every official eyes are closed? This player deserves to be banned forever. Absolutely despicable behaviour. If that would happened to Messi or Ronaldo the cops would been called.

    7. He should be fined for this. Absolutely disgusting behavior and poor sportsmanship.

    8. Disgraceful behaviour, horrific sportsmanship that merely reinforces how much they deserved to lose. Well done, Spain!

    9. Leandro has done this before. Also the coach should be keeping his team back. It’s clear they try to blame everyone else.

He should have been sent off way before, disgusting play from Argentina.

The first disallowed goal from Spain was something that no expert would have disallowed either.

      Justice was served.

They sucked. Spain was clearly better, and then to be a bunch of whiney effing babies after the fact and not accept their defeat with anything resembling grace. HATE THEM.

I don’t care about football very much but the behavior of the Argentinian team and fans online has NOT left a good impression. Their attitude has been horrible and their racism has been
      unbelievable
      . Glad they lost.

Them going after Lamine Yamal too when he was on the Argentine side of the field for throw-in was honestly terrifying. Like how do you feel okay terrorizing a teenager.

As a non-soccer watcher, i didnt really understand why people rooted against the argentina team. I watched todays game in full and was so quick to realize why: Argentina was just full of trolls and drama queens, whose only defining tactic was to draw fouls or penalties or whatever they call it (i watch hockey lol) and play dirty, and argentinas 5 and 24 were probably the worst offenders. Their goalie carried the entire team. Good for spain, thank god it didnt feel like a waste of three hours LOL.
