That movie is soooo good. Every time the brothers find each other I get teary eyed
it’s amazing that he remembers so many details from such a young age
Nolan totally asked Tom to test how much he is gonna give away about The Odyssey lol
That scene gives me so much anxiety. The dad grabbing two boys and having to leave one behind just makes me feel sick.
If anyone here liked The Impossible, watch Society of the Snow as soon as you can. Same director. Just as intense, or maybe even more intense, than The Impossible, and just as ingenious in the way it was shot. It’s one of the most incredible movies I’ve ever seen.
I was just thinking about this movie yesterday!! Even thinking about that scene where Naomi Watts get trapped underwater gives me such claustrophobic feeling.
And those kids ….when they were calling out for their elder brother after being separated,had me in tears.
Did he hire him just so he could ask that question. Like oh I know Tom will tell me. Been waiting years to hear how he did it.Â
Lmaoooo tom’s like those magicians that show how they do the tricks except for actors 🤣
Truly an underrated film
The movie is so good but if you ever get the chance to sit and watch a documentary about this event there’s one where the family amongst others who survived talk about it and it’s just surreal hearing them talk about it, really hits you hard. I’m forever making myself aware of how to survive or damn near try to at least survive in any natural disaster scenarios thanks to movies like this.
Wow, I can’t believe I’ve never watched this film. I’m gonna have to watch it next time. I have a movie night with my son.
