I think it’s rude to do it at all. I mean not rude, but very weird, and it’s even more weird that people think it’s normal now. Like when people see you in person aren’t they shocked? Don’t they look at you with an expression on their face that says “holy shit you don’t look anything like you do on social media?!?!”
I saw a friend recently that I hadn’t seen in about 10 years, and ‘m sure I didn’t hide my shock as well as I hope I did. I mean I knew she touched up her photos, but I didn’t know it was THAT much.
I hope society grows out of this Black Mirror timeline and everyone can go back to looking like normal human beings.
