If you were a 90s kid, he was our *other* dad. He always made us smile when when he saw him on screen or heard his voice.
I recently rewatched Ferngully. I quoted all of Batty’s lines at 7 years old. So many movies/memories/joys.
If you are like me and struggle to hold back tears/choke back feels every clip/pic you see, know that there are millions of us out here who feel just the same & we are holding you in our hearts 💕.

I’m very grateful I have my dad still. Robin always reminds me of him. I wish I could share my dad with Zelda today the same way her dad was shared with the world, and how he has helped me get through really bad days.
Happy birthday Mr. Williams 🙂 i’ll play some Breath of the Wild today for you.

such a hard one to get over. My dad has LBD. It’s a terribly cruel disease.💔

Ferngully and Jumanji were my favorite movies as a kid. I recently watched them with my daughter, and now we’re going through all the Robin Williams movies together. I’m so happy to be able to share them with her, and I love that she also could tell what a beautiful person Robin was.

I miss him more and more all the time, so I can’t even imagine how Zelda feels

Robin Williams died in August 2014 and I remember talking with my dad about how shocking and sad it was, and about his insane legacy. Then my dad died 2 months later and my world spun. My dad had a lot of Robin Williams-esque traits (both appearance and personality) and was compared to him often. Gene Wilder, too. Anytime I see Zelda post about her dad, I think about mine too. I miss them both.

I miss him so damn much. Mrs Doubtfire is my favorite movie to watch when I’m depressed.
I watched Good Morning, Vietnam! After he died and it’s fantastic.

My 7 year old has recently gotten really into ‘Hook’ – and it’s one I’m happy to rewatch over and over and over. Bangarang 💔🫶

I’m still not over his death, I can’t imagine the void in his family. My heart goes out to them. 💙

I wish the memory of him didn’t still make me so sad. But it does, and it never seems to fade.

The world got darker the day he passed. I understand his choice, but the world is worse for him not being here. If only we lived in the world where the good died old.

He’s one of, if not the only celebrity, whose loss still leaves a hole in my life

The one loss I’ll never get over 🥺

Still probably the celeb death that hit the hardest in my household. No parasocial but I hope Zelda is doing well 💜
