      Sad, especially with Pixar delivering two critically and commercially successful films in the form of Hoppers ($390m) and Toy Story 5 ($957m) this year alone.

      *But won’t someone think of the shareholders?* 

    2. It seems like these days an animation company probably doesn’t need as much staff given more powerful tools that do substantially more heavy lifting. It doesn’t take much human labor to tell a tool “have the dog run onto the bus and lick the child in the face”.
