Carcetti running for mayor and becoming mayor is the perfect example of what he’s talking about. Carcetti promised to make all these changed, and when he actually got elected as mayor, he had to actually live up to his promises on top of all the restraints that come with it.

That is the reason I love Mamdani so much. He is so thoughtful in his responses when he speaks about serving his constituents. I seriously wish he was clonable.
I love him. He makes me believe fighting for a better future can happen. We have municipal elections coming up in Ontario, Canada this fall and it’s nice to remember good change can happen.
