I don’t think I would be able to go to a movie theater if I was allergic to popcorn. I think the smell would be too torturous!
Yo shout out to raisinets. Loved those things but I have such craggy molars after my adult teeth came in (my dentist actually suggested I get them capped when I was like 16-17 but here I am at 39 with no cavities still sooooo) that I can’t eat them anymore otherwise I’m gonna be fishing around in my mouth to dislodge the raisin debris. I don’t eat popcorn for the same reason that the errant kernel sheaf will get stuck on something. If I do eat popcorn I kinda eat them individually and let them “melt”.
Regardless of any work she may or may not have had done… Anne Hathaway has looked exactly the same for 20 years. Good for her.

Ugh, as a huge popcorn lover, I mourn for her loss.

In Canada “Rasinets” are Glossette Raisins and they don’t sell them at the theatre as far as I know! I’d love them as a movie snack! They are top tier.

I don’t eat popcorn cuz the husks like getting stuck in my nasal passage. Don’t ask me how but it is painful and the body reacts like I’m sick so I catch a cold smh. I sneak snacks in.

She might be allergic to Yellow #5 aka Tartrazine. It is an artificial dye in Flavocol (the stuff the makes movie theater popcorn), is a known trigger for sensitivities that can cause hives, itching, or allergy-like symptoms in some people.

I would WEEP if I ever became fully became allergic to popcorn. It does make my nose itch a little but that’s it. I buy bags of BoomChickaPop like I buy toilet paper. Oh Anne, Queen, I’m so sorry 😢
