      I love this movie SO much. On my 30th birthday, I had a “dress like you’re 13” night with my best friend to watch this movie. I have a very specific memory of watching this movie on On Demand with my niece (as her parents recorded it on VHS, of course) and rewinding the underwear ice ice baby scene like 10 times cracking up as kids (which was, indeed, caught on the VHS recording).

      So many good memories. So much perection.

      There is no reboot needed whatsoever.

      I”m not even someone who has been against every reboot we’ve seen lately but this………. there’s no reason to mess with a perfect legacy.

      The new DWP was incredibly underwhelming and I bet this one will be too. Lemme guess, it happens again, there’s another wittle issue, they lived happily ever after.

      This iconic movie does not need a reboot/sequel. The magic that this movie did to our teenage selves back in the 2000s is just something that a reboot cannot ever top.

      Emily Bader!! I’m hyped. I first loved her in My Lady Jane and I FREAKING loved her as poppy! So I will be pumped for this one!

      I don’t even understand what the plot would or could be. Like by the end of the movie, we saw Jenna at 30 living her dream life with Mr. Ruffalo in the dream pink house while the iconic song Crazy For You by Madonna played. Where else can we go from there?

      I don’t want a reboot. I liked the original. The original is fine…. Omg f the Hollywood industry and their reboots. Nobody is original anymore.

      I don’t think anything beats the OG film I mean the cast was amazing and c’mon Andy Serkis showing he can bust some dance movies like Gollum actually knows how to dance lol?! You can’t get any better than that! 😂😂😂😂
