A raccoon biologist vlogger I watch said that
Ā [Jimothy is probably in pain and will die young]( https://www.instagram.com/reel/Da6viehtNzQ/
) but will still be happier living as a wild raccoon than in captivity. š The biologist also says that we will probably see increasing numbers of mutant raccoons because raccoon livers are very bad at filtering out toxic
Ā chemicals from pollution and trash that cause fetal abnormalities.

Can we just give a round of applause for Jimberly?! She could have ate him or abandoned him easily but she mommed so hard for her little koosh ball š„¹ššš

I saw one of these short spine syndrome, raccoons recently, my work and it looked like it was a baby that was abandoned because I didnāt see any other raccoons around in the area has frequent raccoons all the time and it was so sad because it looked like it was dying, and I tried calling wildlife support, but they couldnāt get a hold of anybody and it just had its head down and it was whimpering and almost looked like it was injured and could barely walk, and when it did walk, it was walking aimlessly and almost like it couldnāt see where it was walking because he had his head down, almost like maybe he was hit by a car or something, but it was so terribly sad and Iām pretty sure he has passed away but yeah, Iām pretty sure he did have the short spine syndrome and he was a pain, literally just ripped apart my heart watching that little guy die.
