      It makes me so happy to see celebrities actually use their platform to advocate for the most vulnerable. Too many celebrities just avoid taking stances for a variety of reasons and it’s nice to see someone like Ritchson just call out the BS and stand on the right side of history! 👏 👏 👏

      $7.25 is fucking crazy, I live in a city where minimum wage is more than twice that and still not nearly high enough.

      It’s even worse than that. Some states allow the $2.13/hr Federal minimum for employees who are eligible to receive tips. I will also add that the federal minimum wage has not been raised from $7.25/hr since 2009. Almost 20 fucking years of inflation, and not a single increase.
