      minor comment but the couple that currently own her house are not really wanting to expand their house. They want to put a tennis court and a guest house on MM property. Its really that pointless. The house is deteriorating so who knows how it will turn out ? Her estate itself is way more interesting. The lawyer that originally handled her estate at the time of her death and who was the executor was Aaron Frosh. He basically didnt do much with the estate for 15 years. No proceeds were ever paid to any beneficiaries including to MM mother who was in a private sanitarium and eventually the estate stopped paying for her care at Rockhaven sanitarium,. For a few years after the estate stopped paying the monthly bill, rockhaven ate the cost and allowed Gladys to stay on. Eventually she was moved to a state mental hospital and the cost was picked up by the state of calif. Eventually glady s other daughter Berneice miracle took her mother in and she lived in gainesville fl the rest of her life.. Eventually she was placed in a nursing home and died in 1984. The estate started distributing funds in 1977 and Gladys 100k trust fund per the language in the will was established. She was only allowed $5000 a year from this trust tho. Dr Marianne Kriss one of the major beneficiaries actually filed a lawsuit against Aaron Frosh in 1977 and charged him with malpractice and embezzlement. The case was settled out of court and that is when the $ started being distributed 1977. Aarpn Frosh was in over his head as the executor of her estate despite being a respected atty. He let 15 years elapse where Marilyns image and licensing collected no fees. Anyway the way it all turned out would not be how MM would have wanted it too. She would have liked the fact that the London childrens hospital was getting 25 percent of the profits of her estate with the licensing agreements eventually put in place, however. Also a couple other points………after MM death her house was sold and there was a bidding war and it brought 3 times what MM paid for it 6 months before, $150k, Also MM owned a percentage of the films some like it hot, the misfits, and the prince and the showgirl. SLIH was the real moneymaker and has brought in millions of dollars to the estate.
