The Oasis frontman and his fiancee Debbie Gwyther spent last summer phoning around high-end estate agents to buy a new mansion in the Cotswolds.
They had previously rented the Downton Abbey-style mansion in the Cotswolds for a reported £19,000-a-month ahead of last year’s reunion tour with brother Noel.

It was then reported by The Sun that he finally committed to a new house near Cirencester in Gloucestershire.
The country manor is set in five acres and comes with a swimming pool, tennis courts, stables and a two-bedroom cottage.
Now, the Daily Mail has reported Mr Gallagher bought the house from footballer Tony Adams for £4m – around £250,000 less than the asking price.
It’s understood that Liam used the money he made from the recent tour to buy his new home.
Earnings are reportedly upwards of £100million from the tour, according to various national reports.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Liam has “abandoned” his rented Cotswolds mansion after he “grew disenchanted with Cotswolds life”, according to national reports, due to a lack of privacy.
During their first gig of the tour, Oasis thanked their fans for “putting up with us over the years”.
The brothers, who had not performed together since their dramatic split in 2009, blasted through their setlist, kicking off with Hello, from their second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?
His brother Noel lives in an £8 million mansion in East Moen, between Winchester and Portsmouth in Hampshire.
