Those two being pretty is precisely why Nolan couldn't cast them. Nolan's Homer Simpson's: The Odyssey was meant to be subversive and destroy the Odyssey. He does such a good job of it I think you can't even call his movie an adaptation of the Odyssey. To the point that anyone who watched the movie "the Odyssey" has less knowledge about the story than someone who's never read it. Not even an adaptation.
