Yahoo Sports and Cameo have partnered to allow fantasy football users to book personalized celebrity videos directly within the Yahoo Fantasy app and website. The integration is aimed at the growing use of Cameo videos to announce fantasy draft orders.
Fantasy football is Cameo’s fastest-growing occasion category, with a more than 300% increase in related orders from 2023 to 2025. Fantasy football buyers on Cameo also have a 50% higher repeat purchase rate than buyers in other categories.
Through the integration, a Cameo button appears on the Yahoo Fantasy app’s home screen and draft tab, as well as on the Yahoo Fantasy website. Users can book a celebrity to announce or pick their league’s draft order, and the resulting video will be available for all league members to watch within the Yahoo Fantasy app and website.
“The draft is always one of the most fun days of the fantasy football season,” said Jarrod Schwarz, General Manager, Yahoo Sports. “This partnership with Cameo aims to make it even more special, helping fans turn something as simple as a draft order into a memory their whole league will be talking about for years to come.”
“Over the past five years, we’ve seen tremendous growth in the amount of fantasy football leagues choosing Cameo legends like Bruce Buffer, Ray Lewis, and Brilliantly Dumb to help select their draft orders,” said Steven Galanis, Cameo Co-Founder and CEO. “Through our new partnership with Yahoo Sports we’ll be able to help more leagues than ever have a magical moment guaranteed to blow up the group chat and get the season kicked off the right way.”
